OOTD – Proud Mama Edition

20160527_174456Yesterday my youngest, Jason, graduated from Law School. Of course this proud mama couldn’t wear just any outfit. I needed something stylish that would keep me cool and comfortable in the 80+ degree, humid heat.

I decided on the Valentina Racerback dress from SmartGlamour which was custom made to my measurements with white and navy stripes and navy band. The fit was perfect and I love how the skirt swirled around my legs. I got lots of compliments on it. The dress can be ordered in teal or navy with striped, navy or teal bands. It’s also available in sizes XS – 6X, or made to measure for an additional charge.

Another item that garnered lots of compliments was the Grapevine Pearl Necklace from TraciLynn Fashion Jewelry. While it’s is no longer available, there are lots of other lovely selections. I now have my eye on the In Full Bloom Necklace. It’ll look great with my sundresses.

  1. Isn’t it an awesome dress?! I get compliments every time I wear it… so much that I’ve started carrying SmartGlamour’s business cards to hand out every time someone comments on the dress. And thank you so much for the compliment! I’ll be 54 later this month… my son is 28 and my daughter turns 34 5 days after my birthday. 🙂
