Today I attended “Feel the Love: An Exclusive Blogger Breakfast with Avenue” one of the events on the 4th day of Full-Figured Fashion Week. It was hosted by Erica and Scarlett, of Avenue‘s PR team, and Marcy Cruz, blogger at Plus Model Magazine and Fearlessly Just Me.

 

I confess to a long-time love affair with Avenue so was excited to have been invited to the event which introduced us to their Fall 2016 collection that will be available in August and September. Here are some of my favorite pieces from the collection which includes 70’s flair, color blocking and details like removable necklaces, metallic hardware and embellished collars and cuffs.

 

I’m also looking forward to their new Cloudwalker shooties and boots which come in wide widths (some styles available in extra-wide) with zipper or gusset details for easy pull on…

The best part of the event was getting together with and getting to know so many amazing ladies. Check out the photos below and details on my outfit.
